Club members are supported with financial aid of more than VND200 million in order to improve their skills in caring for mango trees. At present, there are about 1,875 households growing some 150,000 mango trees in the province, with a yield of some 10,000 tonnes per year.
In addition to this, the farm is also working to improve the quality of Hoa Loc Cat mangoes with the support of scientists from the Can Tho Science and Technology Department, the Agriculture Department of Can Tho University and the Southern Fruits Research Institute.
