Depart from your hotel and transfer to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. On arrival, take a boat for a trip along islets and tropical orchards. Travel through the canal of Xep and reach a small island where a horse-drawn cart awaits you. Admire the tour through the island and discover small villages. Stop en route to taste tropical fruits and visit a bee farm and then continue on a rowboat through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the river. Enjoy lunch in a garden restaurant and then visit handicraft villages. Continue by boat to a small village for an overnight stay at a local family home. On arrival, free time to go fishing or swimming in the river.
Dinner and overnight in a local house in Ben Tre.
Early breakfast and visit an orchard. This will be followed by a bike ride to the local market where we purchase some food to prepare Vietnamese dishes for lunch. Leave the village at the beginning of the afternoon and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
