Tour: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta - ...


Day 1: HO CHI MINH city (L, D)

Welcome you at Tan Son Nhat international airport of Ho Chi Minh city ( HCMC). Before getting to hotel, we go around the city center to view some typical buildings with French constructive style : North Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall. We arrange welcome dinner on a floating restaurant which cruises along Sai Gon river, to see HCMC’s harbour at night. Night in HCMC.

Day 2: MEKONG DELTA (B, L, D)

Drive to My Tho town of Tien Giang province, one of 12 fertile provinces of Me Kong river delta. Boat trip on the great Mekong River to visit farmers’ houses and gardens on an well-off river islet. Enjoy fruits served by local people while listening to Tai Tu music – traditional music of the Mekong people. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Drive back to HCMC. Dinner at Royal restaurant and enjoy special Vietnamese traditional dance show. Night in HCMC.

Day 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – PHAN THIET (B, L, D)

Drive to Phan Thiet, a famous beach 200km to the North of Ho Chi Minh City. Check in at a lovely beach resort as Blue Ocean, Bamboo Village, etc. Free bathing with sunny and white sand at the resort. Night at hotel resort.

Day 4: PHAN THIET (B, L, D)

Welcome sunrise at the beach. Visit the famous moving sand-hill of Phan Thiet, then see Poshanu Cham Tower, Hochiminh Museum, Duc Thanh School. Rest of the day we relax at the beach. Night at hotel resort.

Day 5: Phan thiet – NHA TRANG (B, L, D)

Visit Phan Thiet Market. Then transfer to Nha Trang city, 250 km North of Phan Thiet which is considered as the best beach of Vietnam, with white sand and blue sea. To day we go on the southern part of high way north-south No.1 along the sea, through the orchards and rice fields with full of authentic sceneries of Vietnam countryside. Relax and enjoy sunset at the beach in front of the hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 6: Nha Trang – ISLANDS (b, L, D)

We have a whole day to see the beautiful beach city. Boat trip to visit Tri Nguyen Natural Aquarium with collection of living sea creatures. Sea-bathing in the blue water beach, snorkeling and enjoy fresh sea food barbecue at Hon Tam small island. Come back to mainland to visit Ponagar Cham Tower, Long Son Pagoda. Night in Nha Trang.

Day 7: Nha Trang (b, L, D)

Drive to Nha Phu Bay. Get on a small boat to visit Monkey Island. See natural monkey flocks with their performances. Visit Dam Market. Relax at Nha Trang Beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 8: NHA TRANG –HOI AN (B, L, D)

Transfer to Nha Trang Airport for flight VN 336 (12:05-13:20) to Da Nang – the biggest city in the middle of Vietnam. Transfer to Hoi An ancient town. Visit a stone carving village at the foot of Marble Mountain on the way. In Hoi An we visit 2 places :
- Visit Vietnam tradition village : try some cakes, try to plant the rice tree, try to scoop water into the field, try to unhusk rice ….
- Visit the remained relics of the ancient sea port: Chinese Phuc Kien temple, a Vietnamese old house with the mixed style : Vietnam, China and Japan. Forward to Chua Cau temple on the Japanese bridge. Night in hotel or resort at Hoian beach.

Day 9: HOI AN – DA NANG – BANA RESORT (B, L, D)

Transfer to Danang for visiting Ngu Hanh (Marble) Mountains, Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum- the biggest collection on the history and culture of the Cham Pa Kingdom which ended at the 16th century. Continue to Ba Na Mountain Resort- the only cool climate resort in middle Vietnam which has 4 seasons climate in a day. We get to the mountain foot by car and get up the resort by telpher ( cable cabin ), like the way to get to Genting Casino in Malaysia. Night in Ba Na, enjoy the cool fresh air in the mountain..

Day 10: BA NA - Hue (B, L, D)

Hiking around Ba Na resort with suspending bridge, Rainbow water fall and thick forests closely surrounding. We leave Ba Na for transferring to Hue, the old capital city of Vietnam, 120 km from Danang. We drive to Hue city through the grandiose Hai Van mountain pass running 30 km along the East Sea. Check in hotel. Have a King-style dinner in which you will be dressed and served as the King and the Queen. Enjoy Royal food. Night in Hue.

Day 11: Hue (B, L, D)

We visit the beautiful city of the Hue Old Capital that is a precious world heritage. Boat trip along blue water Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang King’s Mausoleum and Hon Chen Temple. Drive to visit the Mausoleum of King Tu Duc and Khai Dinh at the outskirt of the city. Visit Tu Hieu pagoda. Night in Hue.

Day 12: Hue – HANOI (B, L, D)

Visit Hue Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market and a typical garden-house.
Transfer to Phu Bai Airport for flight VN 244 to Hanoi (14:40-15:50). Welcome you at Noi Bai airport of Ha Noi capital. We drive to the downtown by passing the rice and corn fields of the capital’s suburb before checking in your comfortable hotel. Night in Hanoi.

Day 13: Hanoi (B, L, D)

We visit Ho Chi Minh’s Quarter includes Mausoleum, House-on-stilts, Museum called by his name and One-pillar pagoda locating in the area – one of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam built in 11 th century. Visit Van Mieu ( Temple of Literature ) – The first university in Vietnam. View the Gothic style of Central Catholic Church and Hanoi Opera under shadow trees. The image of new and old buildings interposing with high shadow trees is a feature easiest to recognize in Hanoi and in many cities of Vietnam. You get on a cyclo to petrol round the exciting Old Quarter of Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Lake – The Heard of the city. Enjoy Water Puppet Show – Vietnam traditional art in the evening. Night in Hanoi.

Day 14: Hanoi – HAI PHONG – CAT BA (B, L, D)

Leave for the sea-port Hai Phong. Hydrofoil to Cat Ba Island. Check in hotel in Cat Ba. Sea food lunch at the beach. Get a motorbike tour to visit Trung Trang Cave by going through deep forests of Cat Ba National Park. Relax at your hotel beach in the late afternoon. Night in Cat Ba island.

Day 15: CAT BA - Ha Long (B, L, D)

Proceed to Halong by boat. Today we have the whole day on the beautiful blue- water Ha Long Bay, a natural heritage of the world. Visit various charming islands scattering here and there in the bay. Get to see Thien Cung natural caves with extraordinary shapes of stalagmites and stalactites. Lunch on the boat with fresh sea food. Bathing at Bai Chay beach of Ha Long city. Night in Ha Long.

Day 16: Ha Long - Hanoi (B, L, D)

Drive back to Hanoi. We view the beautiful landscapes of the countryside along the way with boundless rice fields interposed by villages and orchards. We stop to visit a handicraft enterprise producing the souvenir articles by handicapped peoples at Hai Duong town.
P.M. At leisure or free for shopping. We arrange farewell dinner and enjoy traditional music show at a luxury restaurant at Hoan Kiem Lake. Night in Hanoi.

Day 17: Hanoi – Departure (B)

Shopping. Transfer to Noi Bai international airport for departure.
