Leave Ho Chi Minh for Cai Be early
morning. On arrival in Cai Be you will board your boat for a cruise on
the mighty Mekong River, cruise down small tributaries and waterways
and explore the delta’s second most famous produce after rice, tropical
fruits.
On Binh Hoa Phuoc Island, visit a famous
Bonsai Garden which is owned by local celebrity ‘Mr Giao’. Soak up the
tranquil atmosphere of the gardens which are filled with ancient
plants. In Vinh Long side, you will be picked up by private car again
for transferring you to the charming Victoria Can Tho Hotel for an
overnight.
DAY 2: CAN THO – HO CHI MINH CITY
After early breakfast at the hotel,
then head for delightful Cai Rang floating market, perhaps the most
colorful and unique of all the markets in Vietnam.
Depart the floating market by boat to
Cai Rang Be canal. Stop at one of the local houses to visit their fruit
orchard and taste their delicious tropical fruits offers. Afterwards
start your drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, with lunch en-route and
arrival at around 17.00.
