Day 1 From Hanoi travel overnight by train aboard the luxury Victoria Express to the north of Vietnam, home to Vietnam’s highest mountains and colourful ethnic minorities.
Day 2 Sapa was originally a hill station settled by the French in 1922. The town itself is nestled in a spectacular valley and there are wonderful and ever changing views in all directions. Spend the day exploring the region by 4WD or spend the day at leisure to relax by the pool or potter round the colourful market town of Sapa. Overnight in Victoria Hotel.
Day 3 Enjoy an excursion to Lung Khau Nhin market. This tiny market is surrounded by pine trees forests and villages. Flower H'mong, Tu Di, Tay and Giay ethnic minorities come to buy and sell local products such as food and material for agriculture and fabric. After exploring the market, visit a village of Black Dao people before driving back to Sapa and overnight in the Victoria Hotel.
Day 4 Return to Hanoi aboard the Victoria Express train. Pass through the exotic landscapes of North Vietnam as you journey back to Hanoi.
