
Arrive in Hochiminh City and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
While Hanoi is considered the center of arts and culture, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) is the commercial hub of Vietnam and, certainly its most bustling city. The place springs to life early in the morning with the hustle and bustle of the local markets and incessant honks from all manner of vehicles.
Overnight at hotel.
Hochiminh tour : History museum, Cathedral and Old French building of Post Office, Independence Palace, Antiques or central market, Chinatown with Thien Hau temple.
Visit the intriguing tunnels of Cu Chi, a complex underground system that housed 10,000 people during the height of the war against American domination and contained sleeping quarters, hospitals and schools.
Overnight at hotel.
Depart for Cai Be, deep in the Mekong Delta, and embark on a cruise on a boat. The tour begins with a visit of the colourful Cai Be floating market, followed by a visit to some locale home factories that produce rice paste, rice popcorn and coconut candy. Proceed with evergreen islands among the Mekong River through a large network of meandering tributaries, crisscrossed with countless arroyos. Lunch is eaten at a fruit orchard before the cruise to Vinh Long to discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong Delta rural life. Drive to Can Tho and transfer to hotel on arrival.
Overnight in Can Tho.
Cruise to the colourful Phong Dien floating market while having a delicious breakfast on board.
Transfer to Soc Trang (à 65km), small town well off the beaten paths with unusual attractions: Chua Buu Son Tu (Precious Mountain Temple) that was founded more than 200 years ago and is now known as Chua Dat Set (the Clay Pagoda), Khmer museum and Tan Long stork garden.
Drive back to Can Tho and overnight at hotel.
Transfer to Chau Doc via Thot Not and visit the Bang Lang bird sanctuary.
Visit the Sam Mountain, the Ba Chua Xu temple, the Tay An pagoda, the Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb and the Tao Ngo garden.
Return to Hochiminh City and overnight at hotel.
Drive to Dalat in the central highlands. A half day trip to the west and as we enter the highlands the temperatures drop into the seventies and sixties in the evenings. Stopover in the La Nga village for photos.
Tour Dalat, the old French colonial getaway town with the old palace home of the former Vietnamese emperor, Bao Dai, the old railway station, the valley of Love and Lam Ti Ny pagoda. You will familiarize yourself with this town, inhabited largely by ethnic minorities.
Overnight at hotel.
Transfer
to Nha Trang with stop en route at “Picturesque Pass” (Ngoan Muc). It
provides travelers with stunning views over Phan Rang and its
surrounding areas. Visit also the Cham Polong Giarai tower in Phan
Rang.
Arrive and check in hotel. Tour of Nha Trang city. Visit Po Nagar tower, a sacred Hindu site dating back to the 7th century, the Stone Church built in French colony time, the Long Son Pagoda - Buddhist pagoda built in commemoration of the monks and nuns who died whilst fighting the Diem Government and the tours ends at the oceanographic museum.
Boat ride to local islands. Time for swimming, scuba diving or snorkeling. Visit also the huge Tri Nguyen aquarium. The boat ride gives the Nha Trang seascape traveler time to see Vietnam from the seaside looking in. This day will be one you will remember for years.

At leisure until the flight for Hochiminh City. Arrive and check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Departure day. At leisure for shopping until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for onward flight.
