DAY 1 :
HANOI - MAICHAU (L,D)
Pick up at hotel, depart Hanoi and follow
highway 6 to Mai Chau via Hoa Binh town (140 km)
through lush scenery with stunning views of the
mountains on the way. Arrival Maichau valley,
visit tribal village and meet with people. Lunch
in a hill tribe village. Maichau sets in its
pretty valley with a patchwork of rice paddies,
farms and stilt houses. The area is home to many
ethnic minorities, including the Muong and the
Thai.
Option 1: Dinner & accommodation in village
houses, homestay (sleeping on a mat in a common
room; own sleeping bag is recommended).
Traditional show with local home made wine in
Mai Chau can be arranged at surcharge.
Option 2: Drive back to Hoa Binh for dinner and
hotel accommodation at Hoa Binh Hotel.
DAY 2: MAICHAU -HANOI
(B,L)
Breakfast and en road to Hoa Binh,
embark on a private boat for 2 hour cruise on Da
River Lake with visit Dzao and Muong minority
villages.
Lunch at Hoa Binh hotel. Drive back to Hanoi.
(accommodation in Hanoi not included).
