Day 7-9 ~ Dalat ~ Phan Thiet | |||

Departing
Saigon, we ascend to the cool climes of the central highlands and
Dalat, a delightful hill station established by French and surrounded
by pine forest and lakes. We explore quiet streets, surrounding hills,
French villas, visit a special artist-monk and Crazy House. Actually,
the architect of this little wonder in Dalat is a woman named Hang Nga.
One earlier of her design buildings was torn down because it was
considered to be anti-socialist. The one advantage of the architect,
though, is a very strong one: her father was formerly president of
Vietnam in the 1980s. Highlights of the following day is two-hour
walking tour to K'Ho minority village which is located some 16 km from
Dalat. On the day 9 your tour ends with transfer to Phan Thiet for
beach stay. You will see the fantastic view along the road: rice field,
banana plantation, tea plantations, ethnic village – K’ Ho minority,
national forest Ma Lam, and Da Mi lake.
