Bike and Hike in the Sapa region with comfortable eco lodges and local minority homestays to lodge in overnight. Kayak and cruise Halong Bay, a UNESCO world heritage site and a must-see on all visitor’s list to Vietnam. Discover the hidden back roads and cultural intensities of Hue and Hoi An. Relax by the beach or cycle along the stunning coastline of the central provinces. Fly to the South and enjoy a taster of the Mekong region. Finally celebrate an end to the adventure in Ho Chi Minh City.
This adventure can be tailor made to suit all levels of ability.
Multi activity
Day 1 Arrive Hanoi.
Day 2 Hanoi sightseeing tour. Overnight train to Sapa.
Day 3 Cycle the stunning Sapa valley on or off road to overnight at comfortable ecolodge.
Day 4 Downhill cruise by bike on jeep trails to the valley bottom and beyond. Overnight in Red Dao village.
Day 5 Hike over the Hoang lien Mountain range and down to Ben Den. Drive to Lao Cai to catch the overnight train to Hanoi.
Day 6 Cruise through Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight on board wooden junk.
Day 7 Cruise Halong Bay with optional Kayaking. Return to Hanoi for overnight.
Day 8 At leisure until transfer to the airport for the early evening flight to Hue.
Day 9 Full day to explore the Imperial city by bike or on foot.
Day 10 Cycle coastal road towards Danang and Hoi An.
Day 11 Rest day at leisure in Hoi An.
Day 12 Optional active day in Hoi An – cooking class, biking, culture or snorkelling on Cham Island.
Day 13 Drive to Danang via china beach and the Cham Museum. Fly to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 14 Morning cycle to Cu Chi Tunnels and afternoon sight seeing in downtown Saigon.
Day 15 Depart Ho Chi Minh City. .
