Day 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – LONG HAI – VUNG TAU
Depart
Ho Chi Minh City for Vung Tau. Stop en route to spend time on the beach
at the luxurious Anoasis Resort. The journey continues to Vung Tau, a
popular weekend beach resort on a rocky promontory jutting into the
East Sea. Upon arrival, visit the Villa Blanche, a former royal
residence built in 1909. Visit other Vung Tau landmarks, including a
30-metre high statue of Jesus Christ overlooking the East Sea, Whale
Temple and the renowned Thich Ca Phat Dai Buddhist statue. Overnight in
Vung Tau.
Day 2: VUNG TAU – CON DAO (B)
In the
morning, take a helicopter to Con Dao Island, home of the notorious
prisons where Viet Minh and Viet Cong prisoners were kept in infamous
"Tiger Cages". Today, Con Dao is known for its beautiful, sandy beaches
and coral reefs ideal for snorkeling. The rest of the day is of your
own for leisure and relaxation.
Day 3: CON DAO / Free Day (B)
You
have a day of yourself to explore or relax on the island. Enjoy
swimming and snorkeling or there is the opportunity to hire a
motorcycle to tour the island by yourself. Overnight in Con Dao.
Day 4: CON DAO – VUNG TAU – HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
In
the morning, return to Vung Tau by helicopter then transfer by car to
Ho Chi Minh City. You have another optional transfer from Vung Tau to
Ho Chi Minh City by hydrofoil.
