Hanoi – Perfume Pagoda – Hanoi
About this tourHidden 60km Southwest of Hanoi, the Perfume Pagoda is one of the highlights of the Hanoi area and one of the most important religious sites in Buddhist Vietnam. The pagoda itself is situated in a huge cave built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat as there are no roads. Enjoy the leisurely 3 hour sampan boat cruise through rice field and 'halong bay' style rock formations. Trek up to the 'temple leading to heaven' and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Day 1: A DAY AT THE SACRED PERFUME PAGODA
08.00: Departure. The journey takes hours, along the way see everyday Vietnamese village life.
Arrive at the
Journey further down the river and arrive at the foot of Huong Tich Mountain (mountain of the fragrant traces).
