Highlights of Vietnam Tour (11 days/10 nights)
Day 1: Arrival - HANOI (-/-/-)
You are met on arrival at Noi Bai Airport, transferred to hotel for
check in. Then, a tour by cyclo around the old quarter streets to
discover the local people life.
O/N in Ha Noi.
Day 2: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B/-/-)
We continue visiting Ha Noi with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar
Pagoda, the Temple of Literature well known as Vietnam’s first
university, and the Ethnology Museum.
The afternoon we drive to Ha Long Bay.
O/N in Ha Long.
Day 3: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B/L/-)
A 5-hour boat trip to visit Ha Long Bay, listed as a World Heritage
Area of outstanding natural beauty. This picturesque “Dragon descending
to the sea” Bay has 1,969 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of
them containing beautiful grottoes. Visit of a grotto then seafood
lunch on board. Drive back to Hanoi.
Evening: Water puppets show, the unique Vietnam traditional art.

Day 4: FULL DAY TO HOA LU + TAM COC (B/-/-)
Transfer to Tam Coc, a boat trip on a river through “Ha Long
inland” - the quiet and peaceful landscape of rice fields surrounded by
limestone formations to visit three grottoes of Tam Coc.
On the way back to Hanoi, stop at Hoa Lu, the sight of Vietnam's
capital during 10th and 11th century. Visit of Dinh and Le Temples.

Day 5: HANOI - HUE (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Noi Bai airport for flight to
Hue. Upon arrival we visit the Imperial Citadel, then visit the Royal
Mausoleum of Tu Duc. And then we enjoy a boat trip on the Perfumes
River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda.
Trolling in Dong Ba market (if time permits) before transfer to hotel.

Day 6: HUE - DA NANG - HOI AN (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit Khai Dinh Royal
Mausoleum. Then transfer to Hoian. The scenic 4-hour drive via Hai Van
Pass offers spectacular views of mountains, the sea, idyllic beaches
and villages (we can choose the shorter way by driving through the
tunnel).
Visit to Cham Museum & Marble Mountains with its beautiful grottoes and temples before arriving in Hoian.

Day 7: HOI AN (B/-/-)
We take a morning visit to Hoi An, which was originally one of
major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Visit of
Hoi An Town with its low tiled houses of Chinese appearance, Japanese
covered bridge, brightly painted temples and pagodas make it one of
Vietnam's most delightful places.
Afternoon: free time at leisure on the beach or shopping.

Day 8: HOI AN - DA NANG - HO CHI MINH CITY (B/-/-)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Pick up on arrival and transfer to city center.
An afternoon city tour of Ho Chi Minh City, includes the Notre Dame
Cathedral, the Old Post Office, a lacquer-ware factory, and the
bustling Chinatown with Binh Tay Market, Thien Hau Pagoda is not be
missed as well.

Day 9: FULL DAY TO TAY NINH + CU CHI TUNNELS (B/-/-)
Transfer about 30km north-west of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi town.
Cu Chi tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted
their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The Cu Chi Tunnels
consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis
system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters,
and entrances to other tunnels, the tunnels are between 0.5 to 1m wide,
just enough for a person to crawl along.
Depart for Tay Ninh, the head quarter of Cao Dai region. On arrival we
attend the fantastic mid-day mass when the followers fill the hall wear
colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism,
Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10: FULL DAY TO MY THO + BEN TRE (B/L/-)
In the morning, transfer to My Tho, take a boat trip downstream to
Ben Tre, where you have the opportunity to discover the local people
life in Mekong Delta with coconut candy mill, fruit gardens followed by
fruit tasting, rice paper mill... Biking or transfer by horse carriage
on village road. Lunch at a local restaurant on island with local
specialty of "Deep fried Elephant - Eared fish". Drive back to Ho Chi
Minh City.

Day 11: HO CHI MINH CITY - Departure (B/-/-)
At leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure flight (check out hotel before 12h00).
