Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho - Soc Trang - Mekong Delta - Buon Me Thuot - NhaTrang - DaNang - Hue - Ha Noi - Ninh Binh – Mai Chau – Son La – Dien Bien - Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY –ARRIVAL

Meet at Tan Son Nhat international airport. Transfer to hotel. Dinner on floating restaurant on Sai Gon River. Night in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY – CUCHI TUNNEL

AM: HCMC City tour: Visit HoChiMinh City Hall, Notre Dame Church, Thong Nhat Conference Hall, China Town and Thien Hau Temple, War Museum. Lunch.
PM: Drive to visit Cuchi Underground Tunnel – a battle field in Vietnam War closely to Saigon City. Dinner in a floating restaurant on Saigon River and night in HCMC.

DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – VINH LONG (MEKONG DELTA) – CAN THO

Drive to Vinh Long (130 km). Boat trip on Mekong River to visit gardens, houses making of handicraft goods. Enjoy tropical fruit in the garden. Lunch.
P.M Drive to visit Bang Lang stock garden ( a bird yard) near Can Tho city (90 km). Dinner and night in Can Tho.

DAY 4: CAN THO – SOC TRANG

Boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating market. Drive to Soc Trang town (60 km). Lunch.
P.M: Visit Khme Museum, Kleng Pagoda, Bat Pagoda ( the pagoda in a bat yard). Drive back to Can Tho. Dinner and night in Can Tho.

DAY 5: CAN THO – HO CHI MINH CITY

Drive to visit SaDec Rose Garden (80 km ), then drive back to HCMC. Lunch at Trung Luong restaurant. On the way back to HCMC, stop to visit a CaoDai temple, a strange religion in the South of Viet Nam. Dinner and night in HCMC.

DAY 6 : HO CHI MINH CITY – BAN ME THUOT

Drive to Ban Me Thuot the biggest city in the Highland, 340 km to the North of HoChiMinh City. Lunch on the way at Dak Min. Visit Dray Sap water fall in the South of Ban Me Thuot. Dinner and night in Ban Me Thuot.

DAY 7: BAN ME THUOT

Drive to Ban Don village, the home - land of elephant. Riding elephant. Visit the tomb of elephant- taming King. Visit suspension bridge. Lunch.
P.M : Visit Tay Nguyen Museum - the Museum for minority people in the Highland. Visit Lac Lake on a rowing boat. Dinner. Night in house – on – stilt at the Lac village.

DAY 8: BAN ME THUOT – NHA TRANG

A.M: Drive to Nha Trang (190 km). Lunch
P.M: Relax or bathing at Nha Trang beach. Night in Nha Trang.

DAY 9: NHA TRANG CITY TOUR

Boat trip to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium and Hon Tam Island. Bathing and lunch at Hon Tam – a clean blue water beach in the island.
P.M: Visit to Ponagar Cham Tower, Long Son Pagoda, Hon Chong Rocks and Nha Trang (Dam) market. Dinner and night in Nha Trang.

DAY 10: NHA TRANG – DA NANG – HOI AN

Transfer to Nha Trang airport for flying to Da Nang by VN 334 (08:35 – 9:50). Visit Cham Museum. Lunch.
P.M Visit China Beach, Ngu Hanh Son Stone Village (handicraft). Drive to visit Hoi An Ancient Town – a World’s Cultural Heritage in the central Viet Nam, 30 km to the South of Da Nang. In Hoi An we visit 2 places :
- Visit Vietnam tradition village : try some cakes, try to plant the rice tree, try to scoop water into the field, try to unhusk rice ….
- Visit the remained relics of the ancient sea port: Chinese Phuc Kien temple, a Vietnamese old house with the mixed style : Vietnam, China and Japan. Forward to Chua Cau temple on the Japanese bridge.
Dinner and night in Hoi An town.

DAY 11: HOI AN – MY SON – HUE

Drive to visit My Son. An ancient religion center of the Cham people in the past, 40 km to the South West of Hoi An Town, another World’s Cultural Heritage. Lunch in Hoi An.
P.M: Driver to Hue (120 km) through Hai Van Mountain Pass of 30 km length. Stop on the top of the mountain for photo. Relax at Lang Co beach. Dinner and night in Hue - the Old Capital.

DAY 12: HUE CITY TOUR

Visit the Old Capital full day.
AM: Boat trip on Perfume River to visit handicraft village making conical hat and bronze casting. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda considered as Royal Pagoda of the Nguyen Dynasty and Imperial Citadel. Lunch. Visit Mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King. Dinner and night in Hue.

DAY 13: HUE – HA NOI

Visit a typical garden-house in Hue (Hue has another name as “city of garden”). Visit Dong Ba market. Lunch
P.M: Transfer to Phu Bai airport for flying to Ha Noi by VN 244 (14:40-15:50). Dinner and night in Ha Noi. Enjoy water-puppet show in the evening.

DAY 14: HA NOI CITY TOUR

A.M: Visit to HoChiMinh Mausoleum, HoChiMinh’s House-on-stilt, HoChiMinh Museum (or Ethnic Museum), Van Mieu (Temple of Literature). Lunch
P.M: Visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. Cyclo tour (2 hours) to visit Old Quarter of Hanoi and Dong Xuan Market. Dinner. Night in Hanoi.

DAY 15: HA NOI – NINH BINH – MAI CHAU

A.M: Drive to Ninh Binh , a small town 100km to the south of Hanoi. The road leads you through the immense field of the Red River Delta. Get on small boat to go through the rice-field on a small canal to visit Tam Coc Caves (considered as Ha Long Bay – on – land). Lunch.
P.M: Drive to Mai Chau, a district of the White Thai people in the mountainous area, lying to the South-West of Ha Noi. Dinner and night in a House-on-stilt at the Lac village.

DAY 16: MAICHAU – HOABINH – HANOI

Trekking to visit village of the White Thai people in MaiChau district. Drive to Hoa Binh Town. Lunch. Visit Hoa Binh Hydro-electric Dam- the biggest hydro-electric dam in Vietnam. Drive back to Hanoi. Dinner and night in Hanoi.

DAY 17: HANOI – HALONG BAY – CATBA ISLAND

Drive to Halong Bay. Boat trip on the Bay (5 hours) to visit typical islands and caves. Enjoy the landscape of the immense bay with 5,000 islets. Sea-food lunch on the boat. Check in hotel in CatBa Islands. Dinner and night in CatBa Islands.

DAY 18: CATBA – HAIPHONG – HANOI

Drive to visit CatBa National Park. Bathing at CatCo Beach. Lunch. PM: Get hydrofoil to HaiPhong City. Drive back to Hanoi. Dinner and night in Hanoi.

DAY 19: HANOI – DEPARTURE

Breakfast. Shopping. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for departure.

* The prices are based on twin-sharing room, any person who wants to stay in single room must pay single room surcharge as indicated in the tariff ( except for group 1 person, single room charge already included ).

* In Vietnam now, it is difficult to book rooms at 4 star and 5 star hotel in the big cities in the peak-season period of tourism ( from October to February next year). So if we do not book rooms long time in advance- around 6 months in advance, hotels often request an extra charge from the normal price ( contracted price) before confirm our room- booking.
