Chau is a 145km highland in the West of Ha Noi. There
are many ethnic minorities living there such as: Thai,
Muong, Dao… Each of them has typical lifestyle
and features. You will visit some villages to discover
unique culture and beautiful scenery of mountainous
area. You can visit Hoa Binh Lake by boat trip with
natural landscapes. On the way to return to Ha Noi,
you have a chance to visit the biggest pagoda complex
in Vietnam called Perfume Pagoda. It is the longest
festival of Buddhism in Vietnam (from the first month
of the Lunar Calendar to third month).
KT 09 Maichau ( 3 days )
Day
1: Ha Noi - Hoa Binh - Mai Chau ( L, D )
AM: Depart at your hotel at 8 AM for Mai Chau. Stop
for taking picture then having Lunch in Man Duc town.
PM: Trek to the Muong village, visit a family and you
will know about the lifestyle of the hill tribe (11km
trekking). Drive to Mai Chau and stay in house on stilts.
Dinner at 7 PM. Overnight in Mai Chau.
Day
2: Mai Chau - Sam Khoe village ( B, L, D )
AM: Breakfast at 7:30am then go to Sam Khoe village
by bus (about 20km from the house on stilts). Walking
through many peaceful and beautiful villages, picnic
lunch.
PM: Back to the villages by crossing many clean water
streams and tropical forests. Dinner. Overnight in the
house on stilts.
Day
3: Mai Chau - H’Mong village ( B, L )
AM: Breakfast then go to Pa Hang, a H’Mong village
is situated on 1000m high, trekking 10km in the area
to discover the hill tribe.
PM: Driving back to Man Duc for Lunch then going to
Ha Noi.
