Home stay in Stream Tu White Dzao village

Day1. Hanoi- Yen Bai- Stream Tu Village

Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Yen Bai province, 190 Km north of Hanoi. Arrive in Yen Bai city, have lunch, then tranfer to the boat wharf for a leisure cruise to Ngoi Tu, a White Dzao ethnic minority village on the other side of the Thac Ba lake. Thac Ba is the second largest reservoir in the north, 80 km in length and and 50 km at the widest. Many ethnic groups settling around the lake still keep on their customs and living their traditional way. You will stay on stilt house and may get involved in preparing meals or may have local artists performed the folk songs and dance.

Day2. Trek to villages

Have the whole day trekking to ethnic villages near by and have lunch with the locals or you may hire a sampan to visit the isolated households on the small islets… fresh fish is the specialty of the region. Return to Stream Tu village and stay overnight on stilt house.

Day3. Stream Tu Village- Yen Bai- Hanoi

Breakfast with the head of the family, then leave the village for Hanoi. Have lunch in Viet Tri, the City on the 3 rivers junctions. Back in Hanoi in the afternoon. Drop off at the hotel. End of the tour.

Note: one-night homestay in Stream Tu village may be an extention for the Sapa-Bac Ha tour to make the way from Sapa back to Hanoi less boring.
