Day 1 Hanoi
- Lang Son
Pick up at hotel. Drive to
Lang Son (3 hours), stopover to visit But Thap
Pagoda on the way. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit Nhi Thanh and Tam Thanh Caves, To Thi
Rock, Fairy Pagoda and Dong Kinh Market.

Day 2
Lang Son

Coc Xa Breakfast.
Depart for Dong Khe (3
hours). Visit Na Keo hill which still remains
the communication trench used by French army
during the war. Lunch at local restaurant in
Dong Khe Afternoon: trekking through forests and
mountains to Coc Xa village (8km = 2h30 walk).
Enjoy beautiful landscapes dotted with the
villages of the Tay minority people. Studying
the life style of Tay people.

Ba Be Lake

Cho Ra Breakfast.
Trekking back to the
Highway 4A by another way (8km = 1h30) through a
local market. Drive to Cho Ra (4 hours).
Transfer to basic hotel, lunch. Afternoon boat
trip downstream the Nang River into Ba Be Lake,
exploring the National Park by boat with stops
to visit the limestone grottoes and Tay and Nung
ethnic minority villages. Enjoy the peace and
tranquillity of the unspoilt tropical jungle,
emerald waters,limestone mountains and the
tribal life style.

Cho Ra

Thai Nguyen - Hanoi Breakfast.
Drive to Thai Nguyen, lunch
at a local restaurant. Visit Museum of Ethnology
to see its rich displays of the cultures of the
various ethnic groups of Vietnam. Return to
Hanoi.
