Hanoi

Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau – Lac village

Depart Hanoi at 08 00 am for a 2 hours heading south-west to Hoa Binh town, Once there we will visit a Muong village.

After having met the local villagers, we drive back to Hoa Binh town for lunch. After lunch, we continue to drive for another 2 hours to Mai Chau. Arrive Mai Chau in mid-afternoon, we check in our homestay at Lac village.

Free for personal exploration of this beautiful little village of White Thai minority. Tonight, we stay overnight on a house. (L/D)

Day 2: Mai Chau - Hang Kia

After breakfast, we drive for an hour to the Hmong village of Sa Linh, we spent about an hour walking around to see how the people of this isolated village do business and make their living. Return to Mai Chau for lunch.

Day 3: Van - Sam khoe - Hanoi

Bidding farewell to the family after breakfast, we have a few hours doing our last minute shopping of the local embroidery.

10 00 am, we drive to Bai San, where we have a boat cruise through Hoabinh hydropower reservoir – the biggest of its kind in Vietnam – which help generate nearly 50 % of Vietnam electricity power. Stop for visiting a minority village along the way. Arrive in Hoa binh about noon time. Have lunch in town.

Drive back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around (B, picnic lunch, D) (Overnight on house-on-stilts)
