Northern Vietnam Adventure Tour

Day 1: Ha Noi Arrival (B)
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meeting with guide and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner featured with Vietnamese specialty. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Ha Noi - Ba Be lake (B)
AM: Depart for Ba Be lake, an mountain area, which is nearly 200km far from Hanoi. Arrive on midday.
PM: Visit Ba Be area - Nang river, grottos, waterfall. Overnight at ethnic village, namely Pac Ngoi, where visitors can get to know about Tay People. Enjoy daily meals of ethnic minorities. Overnight in guest's house.

Day 3: Trekking from Ba Be to Tay's villages (B)
AM: 7 hours hard trekking to visit Tay's village accompanied by local guide. Take away lunch will be arranged. It takes 5 hours walk to the village - spend time with ethnic people. Overnight in the village of ethnic people.

Day 4: Trekking back to Ba Be lake - Leave for Tuyen Quang (B)
Walking back Babe lake. Free time on this day for leisure, taking picture…
PM: Depart to Tuyen Quang, an old headquarter of Viet Nam Revolution. Lunch on the way. Overnight in Tuyen Quang.

Day 5: Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang (B)
AM: Depart to Ha Giang town in 4 hours.
PM: Free time to visit this beautiful town. Overnight in Ha Giang hotel.

Day 6: Ha Giang - Dong Van (B)
Depart in the early morning to visit the wonderful world of ethnic minorities people. Going on the mountain with many impressive sceneries and visiting many basically ethnic villages and colorful weekly markets. Lunch at Quang Ba town. Overnight in Dong Van guest house.

Day 7: Dong Van - Ha Giang (B)
Turn back to Ha Giang from Dong Van. Continually to discover some cheerful and colorful ethnic Markets on the way. Lunch at Yen Ninh town. Overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 8: Ha Giang - Thanh Ha Resort (B)
Transfer back to Ha Giang town. Enjoy Thanh Ha resort hot stream. Visit Hmong villages and Trang village near Thanh Ha Resort. Overnight in Thanh Ha Resort.

Day 9: Ha Giang - Bac Ha (B)
Leave to Bac Ha via Khe Pass, Tuyen Quang province. This day is a hard traveling by car but there will be beautiful scenery on route. Overnight at Sao Mai hotel.

Day 10: Bac Ha (B)
Visit Can Cau Market (on Saturday)- an outstanding feature of ethnic people in the North. Or visit Bac Ha market which is organized weekly only in Sunday. 2 hours trekking to discover villages of ethnic minorities (San Diu, Ha Nhi, Xa...) that remain natural and unspoiled by tourists. Buying souvenir from ethnic people. Short walk to discover some surrounding villages (4-6 hours) with local guide. Overnight in Sao Mai Hotel.

Day 11: Bac Ha - SaPa - Tam Duong (B)
AM: Visit Sapa market and villages around Sapa. Depart for Tam Duong. Overnight in Tam Duong - Phong Tho.

Day 12: Tam Duong - Lai Chau (B)
AM: Trekking by shortcut to Sin Ho villages. Car will run free and meet travelers at Sin Ho village. Continue to drive to Lai Chau town. Overnight in Lai Chau. Overnight in guesthouse.

Day 13: Lai Chau - Free day (B)
Free day in the village to get acquaintance with the life of ethnic people or you can enjoy the boat trip on black river (Da river). Overnight in Lai Chau.

Day 14: Lai Chau - Dien Bien Phu (B)
Leave Lai Chau to Dien Bien Phu. Visit the old battle field. Overnight in Dien Bien.

Day 15: Dien Bien Phu - Son La (B)
AM: leave Dien Bien to Son La. Re-check in Hotels.
PM: Visit Old Prison of Son La. Overnight at Cong Doan hotel.

Day 16: Son La - Hanoi
AM: Back to Hanoi. Enjoy sightseeing on the route. Stop over at Mai Chau and Hoa Binh.
PM: 17:00 Arrive Hanoi. Overnight at Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 17: Ha Noi departure (B)
Free time for shopping.
PM: Transfer to airport to leave Hanoi. End of Northern Tour.
