On the beach Mui Ne
Mui Ne, once a relaxed hideaway for budget travelers is now an international destination for golfers, kite surfers and sun seekers. It’s a five hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City making it a convenient destination for those who seek some sun and sand. The fishing village still remains at the far end of the beach and there are plenty of excursions to take for those who don’t want to be limited to their resort.
Wildlotus Adventures has discovered a new resort a few kilometers down the coast away from the main resorts of Mui Ne. On pristine Ke Ga bay, facing a century-old French light house, is located the Princess d'Annam Boutique Resort. The resort style mixes modernist sensibility and post-colonial ambience. With its 57 exclusive villas, 8 swimming pools, 2 restaurants and a sumptuous spa complex, Princess d’Annam is an idyllic haven of calm and luxury. It is due to be opened in February 2008.
The resort is located in Binh-Thuan province on a long stretch of white sand overlooking the Pacific coastline. There are a wide range of outdoors activities available, from bird-watching to four-wheel drive on dirt roads and spectacular mountain raids in vintage side-cars. For avid golfers, the par-72 18-hole Ocean Dunes golf course is nearby and there are of course all sea sports available.
Day 1 Drive three hours to Ke Ga and the Princess d‘Ammam resort.
Day 2 At leisure to explore the surrounding area. Don’t miss a visit to the old lighthouse and Khe Ga fishing village.
Day 3 Full morning at the resort. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.
