On the beach Qui Nhon

Often overlooked on many travelers’ itineraries are the pristine, hidden beaches of Binh Dinh province, located only a half a day drive south of Hoi An. Quy Nhon Life Resort is set on one of these beautiful beaches and combines luxury with a remote desert island feel. A subtle Cham influence is carried throughout the superb architecture and design, and is reminiscent of a Cham temple. This is aptly in keeping with the history of the area, where there still remains many ancient Champa towers. The resort houses just about every luxury, including a spa offering a range of treatments, yoga, tai chi on the beach, bike hire and general relaxation.
There are plenty of things to do for those who prefer to fit in an excursion or two. Qui Nhon town is a substantial fishing port, and is dotted with ancient towers. The Nguyen Nga centre, a centre for disabled children is a great stop-off for shopping and to help to contribute to the livelihoods of the children. They make lovely handmade weaving and handicrafts. Bai Bau beach just a kilometre from the resort is a beautiful while sand crescent sheltered by rocky headlands set against a backdrop of mountains. The surrounding country lanes can be explored by bike. You’ll be immersed into the heart of traditional Vietnamese way of life, traveling back in time a couple of hundred years.
