Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, spend a full day touring the bustling Saigon. Visit Cho Lon and Binh Tay Markets and discover Giac Lam Pagoda, considered to be the oldest in the city, then visit a lacquer ware factory. In the afternoon, explore the Old Colonial Residential Quarter which includes the Hotel de Ville, Opera House, Central Post Office and the elegant 19th century Notre-Dame Cathedral as well as the Reunification Palace. Finally, end the day with a visit to the War Remnants Museum.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, depart to Dalat, known as “Petit Paris” during colonial times. On the way, visit a rubber plantation, a tea and coffee processing plant in Bao Loc and Coho village before arriving in Dalat in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, visit the market of Dalat known for its fresh vegetables and flowers. Discover the Tuyen Lam Lake, Truc Lam Pagoda, Emperor Bao Dai’s villa and the old Railway Station. In the afternoon, visit Lat Minority village. This minority has given its name to Dalat, which means the water point of the Lat. End the afternoon with the visit of the XQ Folk village, where you will enjoy a cup of traditional tea.

After breakfast, departure by road to Nha Trang, Vietnam’s premier beach resort.
Upon arrival, take a boat from Cau Da pier to visits some islands. Lunch in a local restaurant and in the afternoon, visit Hon Chong Rocks, Po Nagar Cham Towers, Long Son Pagoda and Dam Market.
Overnight in Nha Trang.
After breakfast, drive along the coast to Qui Nhon (230km), one of Vietnam’s more active second-string seaports. Stop at the beautiful Dai Lanh beach. Near Qui Nhon, visit Canh Tien Cham Tower, the silver towers of Banh It and Twin Towers.
Overnight in Qui Nhon.
After breakfast, visit the beautiful Thap Thap Pagoda near Qui Nhon and then continue by road to Hoi An. On the way, stop in Tam Ky to visit Khuong My and Chien Dan Cham Towers.
Overnight in Hoi An.
After breakfast, visit the riverside town of Hoi An, which was an important trading port during the 17th and 18th centuries and which is now officially considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a walking tour around Hoi An’s ancient town and explore its treasures and visit a lantern making cottage and try to make your own lantern. In the afternoon, there will be free time to explore the town at leisure.
Overnight in Hoi An.
After breakfast, transfer to Hue, the former imperial capital via the Hai Van Pass. On the way, stop in Danang and visit its famous Cham Museum. In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel, then continue the journey to the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank where at around 16h30 you might be able to see the monks at their daily prayer. You will end the day with a boat trip on the gentle Perfume River.
Overnight in Hue.
After breakfast, continue by car and visit the Tu Duc and Emperor Minh Mang Mausoleums.
You will also stop at villages to see how conical hats and incense sticks are made.
Free time until your transfer to the railway station for night train to Hanoi.
Overnight on the train (sleeping cabin).
Arrive in Hanoi in the morning.
Welcome by your guide and proceed to town to have breakfast.
Enjoy an orientation tour of the city including Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and the Old Quarter and Temple of Literature.
Depart to Hoa Lu to visit Dinh and Le Dynasty temple.
Drive to Truong Yen village to discover the beautiful landscapes with old houses and rice fields.
Overnight in Ninh Binh.
After
breakfast, board a small sampan for a spectacular 3-hour journey
through numerous waterways and beautiful rural landscape of limestone
cliffs and rice paddies to the stunning Tam Coc caves.
Discover Bich Dong Pagoda.
Local lunch and then drive to Bo Duong village.
Upon
arrival, walk through the village and meet the artists who create
puppets. Visit the artisan's workshops, enjoy their hospitality and a
water puppet show performed by local villagers, right on the spot where
locals often welcome important events. Taste the local sweet snacks
famous in this region.
At end of the visit, release flying lanterns.
This rare Vietnamese traditional ceremony is meant to bring luck and
bring wishes to the Gods in the sky.
Continue the trip by road to Hai Phong.
Overnight in Hai Phong.
After
breakfast, short city tour of Hai Phong, most important port city in
the North. Visit Du Hang Pagoda, Hang Kenh Communal House with its
numerous wooden sculptures before continuing to Halong.
Arrive
around 12h30 and board the junk for a memorable cruise through the
mystical Halong Bay. Be delighted by food on board and spend your day
admiring one of the natural marvels of Vietnam: Visit islets, lagoons
and caves and if weather permitting, enjoy a swim in the clear waters
of the Gulf of Tonkin.
Dinner and overnight on the junk.
Breakfast on board and continue the cruise to discover Man’s Head Island, Tortoise Island, Luon Cave, Bai Tu Long Bay and Bai Tho Mountain. The cruise ends at around noon, then drive back to Hanoi.
Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, enjoy a one-hour rickshaw tour of the capital and then spend some times in the old quarter with its antique shops.
Free time until your departure to the airport for your flight.
