Day 1 ~ Saigon | |||
| Arrive Saigon, meet your guide and transfer to hotel for check in. This evening meet your guide for welcome cocktails and tour briefing at your hotel before we make our first journey into the wonders of Vietnamese cuisine at one of the city's finest restaurant. |

Day 2-3 ~ Saigon ~ Cu Chi ~ Mekong Delta | |||
| We
start the day with an orientation walk along Saigon's historic
boulevard, visiting some of the city's most interesting sites. We then
travel to Cholon - the bustling Chinatown district - the city's largest
market for a look at the diverse fresh vegetables, herbs, spices and
tropical fruits that will be our daily fare during the week ahead. We
will enjoy a tasty lunch of "Pho" noodle soup in restaurant "Pho 24"
and then travel to Cu Chi amazing tunnel system built by Communist
guerillas during the Vietnam War. In the evening we will maintain the
Vietnamese culinary theme at restaurant. The next day we experience our
journey to Mekong Delta - Vietnam's most fertile region and the source
of a large amount of the country's fresh food. Enjoy lunch with local
specialties: fried Elephant Fish and Rice Ball. |

Day 4-5 ~ Hanoi ~ Halong Bay | |||
| After two hours of morning flight we arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam's capital and cultural center, a stylish and gracious city that retains the palpable French influence. After lunch with Hanoi's specialty at "Cha Ca La Vong" restaurant, we start walking an hour through the lively Old Quarter. After taking a moment to enjoy a coffee and French Pastry at "Hoa Sua" café we have a ride by cyclo to explore the French Quarter, then we enjoy famed water puppet theatre. In the evening we will enjoy the French culinary theme. The next morning we journey east to Vietnam's greatest natural wonder, Halong Bay. Fresh seafood lunch on boat. We spent the afternoon cruising the bay's 3000 magnificent limestone islets made famous in the film Indochine and return to Hanoi. |

Day 6-7 ~ Hanoi |
|||
| Take
a morning walk to the December 19 market with a local chef who will
follow up with cooking class. We will also spend time touring Temple of
Literature, the amazing life of Ho Chi Minh visiting his mausoleum, the
house on stilts and the museum. We will enjoy a sumptuous dinner of
northern Vietnam specialties at the Hanoi's famous restaurant
"Emperor". On day 7 your journey ends with your transport transfer. |
