DAY1:HOCHIMINHCITY–ARRIVAL
Meet at Tan Son Nhat international airport. Transfer to your comfortable hotel for relaxing after a long - distance flight. We  arrange welcome dinner on floating restaurant on Sai Gon River. Night in Ho Chi Minh City ( HCMC).

DAY 2 : MY THO (MEKONG DELTA)
Drive to visit My Tho Town in Tien Giang Province, one of 12 fertile provinces in the Mekong Delta. Boat trip on Tien Giang river - a great branch of the immense Mekong River to visit farmer’s houses and gardens. Visit bee-raising farm, coconut-candy enterprise. Lunch at an islet on the river. Drive back to HCMC. Visit China Town and Thien Hau Temple. Night in HCMC.

DAY 3 : HOCHIMINH CITY – TAY NINH -  CU CHI TUNNEL

Drive to  Tay Ninh province - 100 km to the North West of HCMC to visit Holly Temple of The Cao Dai religion – An extraordinary religion in the South  Vietnam. Visit Cuchi Underground Tunnel – a famous battle field in Vietnam War closed to Saigon City ( HCMC). Night in HCMC.

DAY 4 : HO CHI MINH CITY – DANANG - HOI AN
The whole day we visit the highlights of exciting HCMC include : City Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral Church, Thong Nhat Conference Hall ( or called Independence Palace ), War Museum , Ben Thanh market. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for flight to Danang – a major sea port city in the middle Vietnam, by VN 326 ( 17:30 – 18:40 ) . Dinner at Danang and transfer to check in at hotel at Hoi An beach . Night in Hoi An.

DAY 5 :  HOI AN– DA NANG - HUE
Enjoy sun rise at Hoi An beach. Visit Hoi An Ancient Town – a World’s Cultural Heritage in the central Vietnam, 30 km to the South of Danang. Hoi An  is the biggest seaport of Vietnam in 17 th century - a forgotten city until now with it mixed culture of Vietnam, China and Japan. Back to Danang, we  visit Ngu Hanh Son handicraft stone Village and Cham Museum of the Cham Kingdom in the 6 th to 16 century.
Driver to Hue  through outstanding Hai Van Mountain Pass. Arrive Hue,visit King KhaiDinh mausoleum.  Night in The Old Capital of Hue.

DAY 6: HUE -  HA NOI
Today we view another World Heritage of the former Hue capital. Boat trip on Perfume River to visit handicraft village making conical hat and bronze casting. Visit Royal Thien Mu Pagoda and Imperial Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty . Visit Dong Ba market. Transfer to Phu Bai airport for flying to Ha Noi by VN 244 (14:40-15:50).  Night in Ha Noi.

DAY 7 :  HANOI
The whole day we visit the peaceful capital decorated with tree lines along streets. Joint the stream of people to visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh (Closed on Monday and Friday of every week, and closed from 1.Oct to 05.Dec of every year) and his wooden house in a respect manner towards the greatest leader of the country. Visit the Van Mieu Temple ( Temple of Literature ) – The first university of Vietnam built in 11 th century. Get to learn Vietnam history and culture at Fine Art and historical museum. Go round the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake on a cyclo like a Lord to view the most exciting part of Hanoi. Enjoy Water – Puppet show – Vietnamese typical traditional art – in the evening. Night in Hanoi.

DAY 8 : HA NOI – SAPA
Drive to Sapa , 350 km to the North of Hanoi. It is a long - distance driving day with our pleasure changing at every part of the road. The way will lead you go from low plain to mountainous area, with thousands of  picturesque sceneries: rice fields, corn fields, waterfalls, minority villages … Visit Coc Leu market in Lao Cai city in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Sapa.

DAY 9 : SAPA TREKKING
Visit the Sapa market in the morning. Trekking to visit minority villages of H’MONG and DAO people. Visit Silver Waterfall and Caumay bridge – the suspending bridge made by the local people. PM : Trekking to visit Ham Rong mountain. Enjoy the landscape of  the  town  and its surroundings with fantastic weather : From early morning to dusk, we feel that we get all 4 seasons of the year. View the highest mountain in Vietnam – the Mt.Pansifan in the south –west.  Dinner. Evening visit Love Market (on Saturday only). Night in Sapa

DAY 10 : SAPA  – DIEN BIEN PHU
Drive to Tamduong town in Lai Chau province – home of many minority people :black Thai, white Thai, red Dao, etc. The road  is  in good condition but it curves up and down the mountains of the Hoang Lien Son range. Then our tour today is  really an adventure and discovery tour. We visit New Phong Tho market – a colorful market of all the minority people in the region – arranged on every Sunday at 9 AM . Dinner and night in Dien Bien Phu.

DAY 11 : DIEN BIEN PHU– SON LA
We visit this far west lovely town ( Dien Bien Phu ) in the morning, getting in touch with  people of the mountainous town in their honest smiles at the Central Market, visit Dien Bien Phu museum  and vestiges of the war  from French colony time.
Drive to Son La- homeland of the Black Thai people. Visit Thuan Chau market on the way. Dinner and night in Son La.

DAY 12 : SON LA – MAI CHAU
Trekking to visit the old French prison and Black Thai village. Drive to Mai Chau – the land of the White Thai people. The view along this road is perhaps most poetic landscape in Vietnam , with grassy fields, herds of water buffalo, endless farms of plum and peach tree  under the valleys of limestone mountain ranges. We enjoy  dinner with  Can wine ( precious wine of the local people )  ( Optional :Enjoy special traditional music and dancing by White Thai people). Overnight on house-on-stilts in the LAC village ( with basic condition of bed room).

DAY 13 : MAI CHAU – HOA BINH - HANOI
We visit houses of the White Thai in the village. Leave Maichau for Hoa Binh town. Visit majestic Hydro-electric Power Plant in Hoa Binh town which produces great part of electricity for the country.  Drive back to Hanoi capital , left behind you deeply memory on the land and people of the Northen West Vietnam. Night in Hanoi.

DAY 14 : HANOI – NINH BINH
Today we go to Ninh Binh town, 110 km  to the south of Hanoi, to visit unspoiled villages and immense rice fields in the center of the Red river’s Delta – the biggest rice basket in the North Vietnam. Get on a sampan boat to row along the small canal in the rice field to visit Tam Coc Caves considered as “Halong Bay on land”. Visit Bich Dong Temple and relics of Hoa Lu ancient Kingdom (Dinh dynasty in 10th century). Night in Ninh Binh town.

DAY 15 : HANOI - HALONG BAY
Today we go toward a Heritage of the World at Halong bay. Stop at Haiphong city to see its famous  Du Hang pagoda and Trang Kenh carpet enterprise. 
Arrive Halong city around 3 p.m. Relax at Bai Chay beautiful beach. Dinner and night in Halong city.

DAY 16 : HALONG BAY - HANOI
Boat trip on Halong Bay to admire the beautiful landscape of the immense bay, visit islands and caves on the bay :  Fighting Cock islet, Luon cave, Surprising cave ….You are in a wonderful morning with the feeling that you are a tiny part of the nature and are getting in touch with the sea, the cloud and the mountain. Lunch on the boat with fresh seafood. Pm:  Drive back to Hanoi . Stop on the way at Haiduong town to visit a handicraft enterprise making souvenir gifts by handicapped people. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 17 : HA NOI
This day we relax or choose your own optional tours around Hanoi capital . No lunch . Farewell dinner in a famous restaurant at the Hoan Kiem Lake.

DAY 18: HANOI - DEPARTURE
Shopping at the Old Quarter of city before checking out . Transfer to Noi Bai international airport for departure.

* In Vietnam now, it is difficult to book rooms at 4 star and 5 star hotel in the big cities . So if we do not book rooms long time in advance- around 6 months in advance, hotels often request  an extra charge from the normal price ( contracted price) before confirm our room- booking.
