Tribes of the North West
The Northwest of Vietnam is a fascinating melting pot of ethnic minority tribes. Most of these tribes immigrated from southern China, fiercely attached to their liberty and ancestral lifestyle. They coexist peacefully together in a serene environment.
By breathtaking mountainous paths travellers will meet these different tribes; the H'mongs from the mountains, The Thais from the valley, the Lu women with their silver jewels and lacquered teeth and the Dzao’s, well-known for their excellent hunting techniques.

PROGRAM
Day 01 : Hanoi – Mai Chau. Visit of villages by walking. Overnight in local house on stlits.
Day 02 : Mai Chau – Son la. Solf trek to Pa Co - Black H'Mong' village . Visit of Black Thai's villages in Moc Chau.
Day 03 : Son la – Dien Bien Phu . Discover of village of White H’mong hill tribe.
Day 04 : Dien Bien Phu – Tam Duong. V isit Black Thai villages with their wooden houses on stilts.
Day 05 : Tam Duong trekking. Full day of visit H’Mong and Man Tien villages .
Day 06 : Tam Duong – Sapa – Ta Van. Tam Duong multi-ethnic market . Walk. Homestay in Ta Van.
Day 07 : Ta Van – Bac Ha. W alk to the Giang Ta Chai and Ta Phin villages . Transfer to Bac Ha.
Day 08 : Bac Ha trekking. A full day of trekking is planned in this breathtaking area.
Day 09 : Bac Ha - Thac Ba. Bac Ha market . Transfer to Thac Ba lake. Night in local house.
Day 10 : Thac ba – Hanoi. Cruise on board. Return to Hanoi.
