VIETNAM HIGLIGHTS - 8 DAYS
Day 01: Welcome to Vietnam - Arrive in Hanoi
Greetings at the airport and transfer to hotel for check in and tour briefing.Afternoon, orientation tour of Hanoi for acclimatizing yourself with local condition. If time permits, enjoy a working tour around the Old town of Hanoi, famous with 36 guild streets.
Evening is highlighted by a water puppet show, a traditional form of art created by farmers in villages around Red River delta in the past, now played in theater.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi City tour - Halong Bay
Morning sightseeing of Hanoi to most of the city's outstanding historical and cultural sites:
President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Presidential site and Ba Dinh Square, the political center of Vietnam, learn about the history and the country’s constitution
One-pillar Pagoda (Buddhist temple) and The Temple of Literature (Confucius temple), a brief learning about two dominating religions in Vietnam.
Drive to Halong bay through the countryside of the Red River delta with peaceful landscapes of the countryside and farmers working on the fields.
The rest of the day is for you to explore Halong city yourself.
Overnight in Halong Bay.

Day 03: Halong Boat cruise - Hanoi
Boarding
at 07.30am, set sail to the sea. Cruise about 5 hours around the water
area of the World Heritage Site amid hundreds of rock formations all
sizes and shapes such as: Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog
island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot cave. Seafood lunch on boat.Back to mainland and transferred to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 04: Hanoi - Danang - Hoi An
Morning flight to Danang. Transfer 30km to Hoian with stop for visiting Cham museum, China Beach.
The whole afternoon is for exploring Hoi An. Wandering on foot along peaceful and narrow streets to admire centuries-old architectures combining influences of many exotic trading communities such as Chinese, Japanese… Visit to Museum, Old merchants’ houses, Chinese Assembly hall and Temple, Japanese covered bridge…
Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 05: Hoi An - Hue
Transfer overland northwards to Hue along scenic coastal line with stops for photogenic scenery and break.Sightseeing of Hue, the old capital of Vietnam from 19th Century, including:
Imperial Citadel built from early 19th Century by the Nguyen Dynasty
The mausoleum of King Minh Mang - a replica of the King’s palace but built purposely for the reincarnation of the King.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 06: Hue - Saigon
Morning flight to Saigon.
City tour to outstanding landmarks of Saigon:
The former Presidential Palace
Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral - two of the city's colonial-style monument
Cho Lon - Saigon's China Town famous with Binh Tay market and Thien Hau pagoda.
Overnight in Saigon.

Day 07: Saigon - Cu Chi or Mekong delta
There are 2 options today:1- Visit Cu Chi, with total 250km tunnels remain after Vietnam War.
2- Mekong River life in My Tho. Enjoy boat ride to visit farms and gardens. Sample local food and fruits.
Overnight in Saigon.
Day 08: Departure from Saigon
