Along the way we pause to visit the main sites in Halong Bay, Hoa Binh, Hoian, Hue, and finally Ho Chi Minh city. What makes this tour special is our route hardly toucheds the frenetic Highway One, as we ride along quiet or little used roads to discover the real Vietnam. Taking time out of the saddle we have excursions by boat in Ha Long, Hue and on Mekong river as well as interesting rides to Cu Chi Tunnels. After cycling through the incredible limestone karst scenery of Hoa Binh and Halong bay. We spend a night aboard the Reunification Express Train to Hue then passing the Hai Van pass to Hoian Old commercial town from 17 century. On reaching Ho Chi Minh city, we have time to ride to Mekong delta and overnight in Vietnamese homes and try to be the Vietnamese one time.
