DAY 1: HA NOI – ARRIVAL
Welcome you at Noi Bai international airport of Hanoi capital. Drive through fertile Red River delta to reach the city. Relax at your comfortable hotel until joining the welcome   dinner . Overnight in Ha Noi.

DAY 2: HA NOI
We visit Ho Chi Minh’s Quarter includes Mausoleum (Closed on Monday and Friday of every week, and closed from 1.Oct to 05.Dec of every year), House-on-stilts, Museum called by his name and  One-pillar pagoda locating in the area – one of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam built in 11 th century. Visit Van Mieu ( Temple of Literature ) – The first university in Vietnam.  View the Gothic style of Central Catholic Church and Hanoi Opera under shadow trees. The image of new and old buildings interposing with high shadow trees is a feature easiest to recognize in Hanoi and in many cities of Vietnam. You get on a cyclo to petrol round the exciting Old Quarter of Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Lake – The Heard of the city. Enjoy Water  Puppet Show – Vietnam traditional art in the evening. Night in Hanoi.

DAY 3: HA NOI – HAI PHONG – HA LONG
Drive to Hai Phong, the biggest sea port in the North Vietnam with its dominant French style buildings. Visit famous Du Hang Pagoda and Trang Kenh carpet enterprise. Continue to Halong city to visit one of Wonder of the world : Ha Long Bay. Sea-bathing at Bai Chay Beach at the end of the day. Night in Ha Long city.

DAY 4: HA LONG – HA NOI
A lovely and comfortable boat will take us to cruise on the most beautiful part of Ha Long Bay. We visit beautiful islands and caves on Halong Bay . We indulge in the immensity of the vast blue sea dotted by floating houses of the fisherman and small islets. Lunch with fresh seafood on boat. Drive back   to Hanoi in an other road which passes the green rice fields of the great rice basket in the North Vietnam. Dinner and night in Ha Noi

DAY 5: HA NOI – DONG HOI
A day train to go south Hanoi. We go pass villages, rivers, mountains with views of authentic farmer life, to get to Dong Hoi town, a base to get to newly discovered World’s Heritage : Phong Nha – Ke Bang. The air – condition train with sleeping bed will help your health not too bad at the destination station. Lunch and dinner in the train. Get the hotel room  in the late evening. Today, we get a lot of pictures and also a little tired with the long distance. Night in Dong Hoi town.

DAY 6 : VISIT PHONG NHA – KE BANG
We drive to the west toward Truong Son grandiose mountain range, to get to the longest underground river in the world. Get on a boat to go upstream of the blue water Son River, to get in the huge caves named Cung Dinh ( Royal Palace )  and Nguoi Xua ( ancestor  people ). Discover the mystery of the prehistoric people lived here thousands years before. Study the Ho Chi Minh legendary trail with its unbelievable ways of transferring the soldiers from North to South Vietnam in American war. Visit the unspoiled immense tropical forests in the area. Night in Dong Hoi town.

DAY 7 : DONG HOI - HUE (B,L,D)
We drive to the south toward  The Hue Old Capital in the middle of the S - letter shaped Vietnam. Stop on the way to visit Vinh Moc underground tunnel, where the V.C. guerillas have lived and fought against American bombing. Visit the de-military zone in the War at the 17 th parallel ( Ben Hai River ) with famous Macnamara’s electronic fence between North and South Vietnam. Relax at Thuan An Beach. Night in Hue.

DAY 8 : VISIT HUE OLD CAPITAL
Today we have whole day to visit one of World’s Heritage in Hue city – the former Kingdom  of the 143  year  Nguyen Dynasty. Boat trip on the Perfume river to visit a village along the river bank producing bronze- casting goods  and conical hat. Visit Royal Thien Mu Pagoda, Imperial Citadel- The most important part of Hue city, Dong Ba Market, Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King’s Mausoleum. Night in Hue.

DAY 9 : HUE – DANANG – HOI AN
Drive to Hoi An via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Stopover at Marble mountain, Non Nuoc beach in Danang city. Visit Hoi An ancient Town- another World’s Heritage of a forgotten seaport from 17 th century well reserved until now. We visit a Chinese temple, Japanese bridge and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan. You can buy some small ancient ceramic gifts as souvenir here with surprising  price . Night at Hoi An Beach or in the town.

DAY 10 : HOI AN – MY SON
Another World Heritage is waiting us today in the South West of Danang. It is My Son Hollyland - the religious center of Powerful Champa Kingdom from 6 th to 16 th century, with relics of temples, steles and carving statues showing a thriving life of people here at once time. Night in Danang.

DAY 11 : DANANG – NHATRANG
Visit Cham Museum, the best collection for the history and culture of former Champa Kingdom. Fly to Nhatrang city – The best beach in Vietnam - by VN335 ( 10:30 - 11:50 ). Visit Ponagar Cham tower, a beautiful temple of the Cham people locating in the city. Relax at Nha Trang Beach. Night in Nha Trang.

DAY 12 : NHA TRANG - DALAT
Boat trip on Nha Trang blue sea to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium and a fishing village. Bathing or snorkeling at Hon Tam island. Watch the spectacular immense sea dotted here and there with big and small islands. Transfer to Dalat flower city in the West highland. Enjoy the fresh air that is cool all year round in this mountain city. Night in Dalat.

DAY 13 : DALAT
Visit Valley of Love, King Bao Dai Palace, Dalat Flower Garden, Truc Lam meditative Pagoda at the bank of Tuyen Lam Lake. Get on a boat to view the poetic landscape of blue water in a mountainous area with deep forests. Riding elephant up and down the hills or along the lake. ( Optional :  Enjoy Cong – Chieng festival- a traditional music and dancing show  of the minority people in the highland in the evening.)  Night in Dalat.

DAY 14 : DALAT - HOCHIMINH CITY
Visit Dalat colourful market with majority of flowers and vegetables. Drive downhill toward HoChiMinh City ( HCMC ). We stop at Bao Loc town to visit the imposing Dambri Waterfall – one of highest water falls in the highland. Arrive the animated and exciting HCM city. We relax at our comfortable hotel after a long driving trip. Dinner on a floating restaurant cruising along Sai Gon river. Night in HCMC.

DAY 15 : HOCHIMINH CITY

We visit the most typical places in the city: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central post office, the City Hall, Reunification Palace, War Museum, China town, Thien Hau Temple. Visit Tay Son Lacquerware enterprise to see the artists producing their masterpieces. In the afternoon, drive to visit unbelievable Cu Chi Underground tunnel - The most famous battle field in Viet Nam war. Night in HCMC.

DAY 16 : HCMC – VINH LONG - CAN THO
Drive to the South of HCMC to get to Vinh Long – one of 12 fertile provinces of The Mekong Delta. Boat trip on great Mekong river to visit orchards and farmer’s house at An Binh island locating on the immense river. Continue to Can Tho city, visit Khmer pagoda and Bang Lang Stock gardens in late afternoon when the birds come back to their nets . Night in Can Tho city.

DAY 17 : CAN THO – HCMC
Early morning we visit authentic Cai Rang floating market in Can Tho‘s outskirt, then drive to Vuon Hong ( Rose Garden ) at Sa Dec town on the way back to HCMC. ( Optional : Get on a hydrofoil to get back to HCMC with different landscapes along 2 banks of the river). Relax.  We arrange our farewell party at The Royal Restaurant with traditional music show. Night in HCMC.

DAY 18 : DEPARTURE
At leisure before transfer to Tan Son Nhat international airport for departure. End of your tour.

• In Vietnam now, it is difficult to book rooms at 4 star and 5 star hotel in the big cities . So if we do not book rooms long time in advance- around 6 months in advance, hotels often request  an extra charge from the normal price ( contracted price) before confirm our room- booking.
