Day 1: Hanoi – arrival

Pick you up at the airport and transfer to hotel in Hanoi

Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 2: Hanoi – Halong bay  (B, L, D)

8h00:    Pick up at your hotel to Halong bay. 03 hours road trip to Halong. Seafood lunch while cruising around

amazing islets amid dramatic natural scenery.  On the way to visit Sung Sot Cave – one of the most impressive caves on the limestone mountain, see Floating villages, Dinh Huong Mount, Ga Choi (Cock Fighting Mount). Keep sailing on the Bay to Hidden Cave, stop for kayaking, swimming, in emerald water, admiring sunset. Fresh seafood dinner before  retiring to sleep on board.


 

Day 3: Halong – Hanoi     (B, L)

Have breakfast. More cruising to the other part of the bay. Lazy on the top deck for sunbathing, taking picture  fishing farm, floating school, swimming. Lunch in Halong city then bus back Hanoi. Dinner on guest’s account.

Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.


 

Day 4: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc  – Lao Cai    (B, L)

8 – 8h15: Pick up at your hotel, heading to Hoa Lu Hoa Lu is called "Ha Long bay in land", it is a landscape similar to  of Halong bay (without the sea but in the rice fields). You will embark in small boats at Van Lam, led by young women, to sail on Ngo Dong river which curves among the rice fields and the mountains of limestone and threads under three mountains, to arrive till Tam Coc caves (three caves). Superb landscapes and the meeting of the life on river of the fisherman and Vietnamese farmers. Get back Hanoi in the late afternoon. Free until 8h30pm, take the bus to train station to catch the night train to Lao Cai.

Day 5:  Lao Cai – Sapa Trekking    (B, L, D)

Arrive at Lao Cai station at 6:00am. Pick up at Lao Cai Station, then transfer to Sapa. Have breakfast and a shower in the hotel before the trip starts. Trek down to Lao Chai villages to visit the Black H’mong. Have a picnic lunch on the way then keep on going a long the valley to get to Ta Van village where Dzay people lives. Then homestay in their local family house.


 

Day 6: Sapa Trekking     (B, L, D)

Start the trip after breakfast, up to Dzang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao minority. Have lunch. Amazing sceneries and beautiful waterfall are to be seen in the afternoon before going up to the main road, where you will be picked up by motorbike/jeep. Ride back to Sapa and you might stop to take photos of the fabulous valley in route to Sapa. Check in and have dinner at the hotel in Sapa, enjoy the night in the mountain town.

 


Day 7: Sapa – Hanoi    (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel, morning is free to explore the town on your own. After lunch you check out and leave your luggages at hotel then trek down to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H’mong hydro electric built by French and enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat and very beautiful scenery along the way. Then back to Sapa and refresh with a shower before transferred to Lao Cai Station for night train back to Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi

Arrive Hanoi at 5am  at Tran Quy Cap station. Get the taxi back to hotel in Hanoi.

Free time today for shopping.

Overnight in Hanoi.


 

 

Day 9: Hanoi - Saigon    (B)

Take the flight in the morning to Saigon.

Arrive Saigon. Check in hotel. Free in the afternoon.

Overnight  in Saigon.


 

Day 10: Saigon – Cao Dai Temple - Cu Chi tunnels (B)

Depart from hotel to Cao Dai.The great Holy See Temple, built in 1962, is considered one of the most striking structures in all of Asia. It is the headquarters of Cai Dai, a religion with a colorful mix of Buddhism, Christianity and Confucianism. Attend the noon prayer session to witness the daily mass held by the Cai Dai followers, which is a fantastic experience.

After lunch, take a trip to the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels.The tunnel systems were created by locals over a period of years. This huge construction was a habitation for village people in the wartime. With 3 levels of depth, it was never discovered by the US during the war despite its proximity to Saigon.

Return to Saigon in the afternoon.

Day 11: Saigon – My Tho   (B, L)

Heading out of the town you travel by roads to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho you embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up. The exciting excursion is passing through the lush green vegetation before arriving on an island. Here you have opportunities to visit some fascinating local industries, stroll through an orchard and taste many seasonal fruits. Back to Saigon in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Saigon – Free    (B)

Free whole day to discover Saigon.

Overnight in Saigon.


 

Day 13: Saigon – Departure  (B)

Free time until transfer to airport for your departure.
