Binh Phuoc is a province with a lot of untouched natural landscapes such as Mo (Mơ) waterfall, Soc Xiem (Sóc Xiêm) lake, Ba Ra (Bà Rá) mountain, etc adhering to historical events during anti-American & French resistance wars.
Nguyen (Nguyễn) dynasty, Binh Phuoc belonged to Bien Hoa (Biên Hòa). To
the middle of 19th century, after deposing its domination in the South
of Vietnam, the French divided the South into 4 areas: Sai Gon (Sài
Gòn), My Tho (Mỹ Tho), Vinh Long (Vĩnh Long), and Bat Xac (Bát Xắc). At
that time, Binh Phuoc was subordinate to Sai Gon. Till 1889, Binh Phuoc
became subordination of Bien Hoa (Biên Hòa) and Thu Dau Mot (Thủ Dầu
In 1972, Binh Phuoc province was officially founded. But in 1976, after the foundation of Song Be (Sông Bé) province, Binh Phuoc turned back to be subordinate to this province and separation happened in 199 like nowadays.
Nowadays, visiting Binh Phuoc, you may get chance to visit historical
and cultural relics such as Mien (Miền) steering committee in Loc Ninh
(Lộc Ninh) district - a nerve-centre of Republic Provisional Government
in the South of Vietnam, Loc Ninh entertainment guest-house, Phu Rieng
(Phú Riềng) - place where cell of Indochinese Communist Party was
