White Sand Doclet Resort & Spa looks like a picture of three colours; green of the large meadow, sparkling clear blue ocean, and immaculate white of beautiful sand. Visitors can enjoy the beach every season because Doc Let beach is calm throughout the year.

Doc Let beach, nearly 50 kilometres north of Khanh Hoa’s Nha Trang City, is among the most popular beaches of the central coastal region. The resort has an area of about 12 hectares with many services to offer guests.

The surrounding area is green and flat. It’s dominated by umbrella coconut, poplar, areca and frangipane trees, making for a very pleasant environment.

Nguyen Huynh Bao Quoc, regional sales representative of the resort, said that the resort has two parts, comprising a picnic area of 4.5 hectares, and another 7.5 hectares used to develop the four-start resort. The two parts are separated by a mini golf driving range. “We want to offer different services in our resort but also want to have a strong connection between the two parts via the golf course,” he said.

The picnic area is mainly undeveloped, just some tents covered by coconut leafs, so the space is large enough for tourists to play team games and take part in activities together.

Tourists can visit a mini seafood market there; it’s easy for visitors to choose fresh seafood with reasonable prices. A small open kitchen is also available for visitors to prepare their own dishes or ask the chefs to make them.

Other activities at this beach are sailing, fishing and swimming. It also has beautiful white sand and its waves are not too big, so it is safe to swim or surf every day.

Tourists can also try other sea sports such as parasailing, kayaking, sailing a catamaran or renting boats to explore some islands in Van Phong Bay. The resort has a long, white sand seashore, walking and running along the 600 metres of the beach is good exercise in the morning, and is also a chance to explore the daily life of local fishers. Many local fishing boats anchor near the resort.

The resort also offers camping tents for visitors who want to stay over night on the beach. A small camping tent costs VND 100,000 for two people per night, and big camping tents costs VND 150,000 for four per night.

Unlike the picnic area, the resort area offers high-class services, including 54 hotel rooms and bungalows from US $85-US $165 per night, a meeting room for 500, a swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

Quoc said that White Sand is preparing some new high-class services for the grand opening in the near future.
