Kim Đong, who was a hero still very young in age
in the wartime of resistance against the French colonialists mentioned
in Vietnamese history and literature. At present, there is a relic area
called Kim Dong at Na Ma (Nà Mạ) village, Truong Ha (Trường Hà)
commune, Ha Quang (Hà Quảng) suburban district, where people
commemorate his merits and noble sacrifice.

The
relic area includes Kim Dong‘s grave and statue. His statue locates at
the foot of a high row of rocky mountain. When visiting this relic
area, you will know Thin Nghieng (Thin Nghiểng) stone, where he sold
his life dearly.
Kim Đong relic area is not
only a place referred as a meaningful historical lesson, but when
coming here, you also contemplate the immense and peaceful view of Cao
Bang (Cao Bằng) mountain and forests.
