Immaculate white sand dunes seem to creep onto pine hills. Those sand dunes have witnessed very romantic love stories of girls and boys in Cat (Cát) hamlet, subordinate to Ninh Phuoc (Ninh Phước) commune, Ninh Hoa (Ninh Hòa) province. For the past four years, Doc Let has been an attractive beauty spot that actually becomes either a choice of variety of tourists and travellers before coming to Nha Trang or a place for relaxation for the locals on holidays or vacation.

Doc Let resort fully covered with 2,5 km populus trees along with silky white sand beach. 100-110m from the shore, water level is just chest-deep, gently sloping to the sea, it is as not deep as other beaches with ripples of peaceful surface. Water here is much limpidly blue and clean since there are no rivers pouring into this beach. Landscapes of Doc Let are well-known thanks to its unique advantages, however, natural scenery is not violated, and hence "let" forest almost stays untouched. After hours of playing in waves, tourists may be in power to reach sand hill to slide till exhausted, then getting back to the sea. Visiting Doc Let, tourists much enjoy promenading along the veranda to have their footprints onto silky sand or lying exposed to the sun enjoying sound of waves mixed with falling populus leaves.
There have been 16 pleasure lodging facilities built with style of houses on stilts which are pretty nice. Each of them is your own privacy. Small tiled paths are interspersed with forest full of willow and populus trees covered with falling leaves and singing birds every morning. Each lodge has a jar of water made of terra-cotta accompanied with a ladle made of coconut.
After hours of amusing yourself in "salty lake", tourists may indulge themselves in windy huts, enjoying very fresh sea-foods at a much cheaper price than those at other beaches in the region. With only 25.000 to 50.000VND, tourists feel free to select sea-foods per their hobbies such as: shrimp, "ghẹ", crab, "ốc nhảy" (snail), "tôm tích biển" (shrimp), "ốc gai" (snail with prickles), "sò lông" (hairy scallop), "sò dương", etc. These sea-foods are greatly delicious, crabs and alike (ghẹ) are not "ốp", and all are so fresh in water ("rộng"), only waiting for orders from tourists to be processed at site. Doc Let is memorized for images of willows swaying over sandy beach, images of fishermen sitting to mend fishing nets after their voyages. In moonlight at night, travellers saunter on glistening sandy beach, watching fishermen to catch fish, crabs, cuttlefish, "ghẹ" (like crab), clam, and test your capability to be in role of a fisherman. Once you come in group, there will have camp-fires with a lot of amusements, chances for exchanges, closer connection; daily fatigues are therefore much eased. The moment when camp-fire almost goes off, it is right time for tourists/travellers to enjoy scallop soup, a really delicious speciality that is much memorable.
