This new museum will focus on the history of the ancient
capital of Hà Nội which will celebrate its 1,000th anniversary in 2010.
Exhibits will be drawn from a collection of some 17,000 documents and
artefacts relating to the history of the ancient capital. Construction
will take place at the Mễ Trì Cultural Park in Từ Liêm District and
completion is expected by 2005.
