One of the islands famous for its grottoes is Dau Go Island. The
largest cave in the area is in this island, Hang Dau Go (or the Wooden
Stakes Cave). The grotto is popular among tourist since the 19th century, when French called it the Wonders Grotto. Some
of its stalagmites are more than 800 inches high (20 meters).
