amounting to 7,200.
Chinh said that local Tet revelers increased 30% as compared with last year, while international vacationers soared 20%. that there were 3 many activities in the region during Vietnam Tet,
attracting many local and international travelers. Each resort had its
own program to celebrate Vietnam Tet, introducing traditional cultural
features to international visitors who for the first time experienced
Tet.
Seahorse Resort organized a program to show international guests how to make banh chung (sticky square rice cake). After being introduced the meaning of this traditional cake as well as basic techniques for wrapping, foreign vacationers show off their talents, and finally, the guests had a chance to taste the cake they had made.
In addition, there were several outdoor activities in the region during the holiday. Many local and international tourists flocked to the sand dunes to encourage players in a race across the dunes.
