The Tra Su (Trà Sư) cajuput forest is in Van Giao (Văn Giáo) village, Tinh Bien (Tịnh Biên) district, An Giang province. This forest is about 10 kilometers from the Vietnam - Cambodia frontier; it's in the uninterrupted tourist line to Sam Mountain, Cam (Cấm) Mountain and Tuc Dup (Tức Dụp) hill tourist zones. The forest is ideal for people interested in discovering the nature.

From the center of Chau Doc (Châu Đốc) town, following a shady asphalted road through the population of Ba (Bà) Mountain vestige, you will arrive in Tri Ton (Tri Tôn) district. Along the street, there is a lot of green Palmyra. Take the left and go straight about 3.5 kilometers when you arrive in Bung Dien (Bưng Điền) Bridge, then keep going and take the left again as soon as you pass the Sat (Sắt) (iron) bridge. Now you are in The Tra Su cajuput forest ecological tourist zone.

You can enjoy the bicycle rides on the shady dykes in the Tra Su cajuput forest. You can also try passing over the "cau khi" ("cầu khỉ") (a long, small tree which people can walk on and pass over the river), or walk through the forest to discover some endangered birds' life. The most interesting thing is to travel by "tac rang" ("tắc ráng") (a small kind of boat which is long and pretty fast) through the forest to discover the wild life of many kinds of birds and storks here. After 30 minutes traveling by a boat, you will arrive in a rest station. There is a restaurant specialized in special country foods and drinks, especially the "unique" Co Bat (Cỏ Bắt) tea which will bring you a fresh and tranquil feeling.

Go inside the forest by a small boat, you will have chances to discover a very interesting world. There are over 70 species of birds, 2 among them are listed in the Red List of Threatened Species of Vietnam (Indian Co Lao (Cò Lao) and Co ran (Cổ rắn)). There are also many other reptiles, too.

Cajuput is the only one of the society  of tree-plant here, but it is divided into many areas. In the "nuoc noi" ("nước nổi") season (in the rainy season, there is lots of water coming from the Mekong causing blood here in some months), tourists can go through the forest by boats to contemplate many special kinds of plant and animal.

The Tra Su cajuput forest is really an ideal place for someone interested in sightseeing and science to take a wonderful rest.
