Con Temple
Con Temple is very close to Lach Con seaport, among the charming mountains and water terrain. It includes the main temple (inner temple) and subordinate temple (outside the seaport). Nowadays, the outer temple is destroyed by war and time. Con Temple is one of the four most sacred temples in Nghe An Province: "The first is Con, the second is Qua, then Bach Ma, Chieu Trung". The temple has ancient architecture with nghi mon (altar-curtain), mid-temple, lower temple, apsidal and house for dancing and singing. Behind the temple there are two hills raise high and stretch long like wings of phoenix. There are two wells at the two hills. According to the legend, two wells are eyes of a phoenix. At the other bank of  Mai Giang River, Voi and Xuoc Mountains are in the front of the temple, and behind of the temple is the sea.

According to the legend, the temple was built in 1235 (in the Tran Dynasty). It dedicated to the Holy Mother, four lady saints (the goddess protected and supported for people thriving and overcome the danger. She already had helped Tran and Le Armies cross the ocean safe and sound many times). In 1312, the temple was rebuilt by Tran Anh Tong and proclaimed royal ordinance on international annual organizing. Under the Le Dynasty, then the Nguyen Dynasty, the temple was restored, repaired and new-built so that the architectural style, the way of decorating weapon-offerings, carving dragons and phoenixes still retain the cultural style of the end of Le Dynasty and beginning of Nguyen Dynasty, though the temple was built in the Tran Dynasty. In 1966, the three main shrines and many precious offerings in Con Temple were destroyed by American bombs. Now it remains nghi mon and house for dancing and singing. The temple has kept many old statues and weapon-offerings with religious, historical and cultural value.  It had classified as a national cultural and historical vestige by Ministry of Culture and Information in 1993.

Con Temple with sacred and mysterious stories in people and its festival with Vietnam cultural character is more and more attracting many travelers from everywhere. They come to visit, study and take religious activities.
