If we want to have an overview of the Island
clearly, we have to stand from river marina. Cua Lo river’s main branch
originates from western branch, and flows through Huong Van, Phan
Thanh. After distributing water to Le dynasty cannal, the river crosses
Thien Ly road being National Highway N0 1A in Cau Cam now, and then runs between Dau Voi and Cam
mountains. Flowing near to the sea, it meets Dung mountain, and then
Lang Kho one locating at the Northern bank. So, it bends itself to the
South and then flow to the sea. Proverb says that: the landscape
consisting of mountain and river is very interesting. There are not
only river and mountain, but bluish green sea. Thanks to Twin Fishes
locating outside, Cua Lo beach becomes more poetic and magnificent. The
Island protects small fishing boats
from storm and whirlwind. Besides bathing in the sea, experiencing the
Island’s beauty and enjoying fresh air, visitors can take part in going
mountaineering, rowing boats around the Island
to experience its beauty, visiting area of feeding fishes in cages. The
Island has actually become an attractive tourism site for visitors
coming to Cua Lo and “If you come to Cua Lo beach, you must visit NguIsland”.
At present, the Provincial People’s Committee permits Cua Lo town to
implement project on building tourist wharf in Lan Chau and NguIslands with aim to serve Nghe An Tourism Year 2005 in time.
