Visiting Sapa following booked tours will limit your time and you
may not get chance to visit all landscapes in Sapa. If you have plenty
of time, a tour on your own should be much better since you will
certainly realize that Sapa is truly a perfect place for tourism.There are many must-see places as follows:
Gate to Heaven

Ham Rong (Hàm Rồng) mountain: one of fabulous mountains which adhere to
a legend of Sapa (you have to pay 30.000VND/person for a tour to Ham
Rong mount).
2. Cat Cat village: this is a village of an ethnic
minority where Mong and Yao ethnic minorities reside (entrance ticket
is 10.000VND/person)

Tà Phìn village: this is the village of Mong and Red Yao ethnic
minorities. You will get chance to admire the beauty of splendid
flowers blooming on North West mounts and hills and the beauty of
brocades made by local weavers. Visiting Tà Phìn, please do not forget
to drop in a stone monastery to the North East oh the hill and visit Tả
Phìn cave with miraculous stalactite works
You may hire a jeep or a car to visit the village (rent is from 200.000-300.000VND/car)

Mây bridge: an attractive place to tourists with a water fall named
Bạc. You can hear its sound even you are far away from the fall (a tour

Ancient stone ground: ancient stone ground and Mây bridge are at the
same place, you therefore may hire only a car for these places
