Considered as "Mediterranean Sea of Vietnam " or "Rio de Janeiro of
Central Vietnam", Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) is much like a
"full-of-sunshine deck" with many charming beauty spots like: Tháp Bà
(Ba Tower), Hòn Tằm (Tam island), Hòn Mun (Mun island), Hon Heo (Heo
island), Hoa Lan spring, Nha Trang bay (newly-acknowledged to be one of
the most beautiful bays in the world), etc. Specially, apart from
mountains, beaches, piers, tourists may enjoy a so-called specialty of
Nha Trang: mud-bath. Mud-bath is divided into 8 steps, mainly are:
After
get changing cloth, tourists are instructed to clean themselves with
warm mineral water in a yard of various faucets whose water source is
from entrails of the earth.
The above step is followed by the main step: mud-bath, massaging the face/hair with mud, and flush your body.
Sun-bath is the 3rd step after 15-minute mud-bath. This step is to allow minerals present in mud to penetrate onto the skin.
As
soon as sun-bath has completed, tourists are instructed to flush their
bodies with fresh water to get rid of mud, then have their bodies
soaked in a hot mineral water lake, swimming pool, waterfall, and
eventually, the step of "ôn tuyền thuỷ liệu pháp". (.....) Tourists may
find this kind of bath very special since warm bath is alternatively
carried out with cool bath, this happens in four sequences.
Fall
of warm mineral water and "ôn tuyền thuỷ liệu pháp" are known by
tourists as two newly-born services of Tourist Centre of Thap Ba warm
mineral water. As a matter of fact, these are types of massages, but by
water. From this water fall, mineral water from a certain height
flowing down as hardly and heavily as manual massage that really drive
tourists away exhaustion. With "ôn tuyền thuỷ liệu pháp", tourists may
get their entire bodies massaged by thousands of warm spray of water
strongly ejecting from two parallel stone walls that is 1m apart from
each other. Apart from two steps that are time limited (mud-bathing in
about 15 minutes, bathing in warm mineral water in about 40 minutes),
tourists feel free to bathe without any bore.
A little notice
to tourists who follow this mud-bath for their purposes of relaxation
or any kinds of treatments, having bath in cold water is not
recommended after mud-bath, especially with soap (including bleaching
powder of all kinds) as these types of bath will definitely wash out
the mineral layer on your skin, consequently, reduce effectiveness of
mud.
Notes to pernicious-heart-failure people, mud-bath may
bring them some response to their bodies like: tired, tense, insomniac,
dizzy. Hence, bath temperature and time should be given remarkable care
since these are different from this person to that person. After
entirely soaking, drying bodies and having a rest for about 10-20
minutes are to be of musts.
